I do believe that as we seek God's will for our lives, he does direct the choices we make (including who to vote for). Also I've noticed that as my relationship with the Lord grows stronger, so do my convictions (including voting for the most liberal senator in the nation). Obviously now that Obama is president-elect, I will support him and pray for him, but I didn't vote for him b/c I don't agree with his views on most issues.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2982174673054423605.post-67443315374870335862008-11-08T21:52:00.000-06:002008-11-08T21:52:00.000-06:00Great post!Great post!Mollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04963930937088035249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2982174673054423605.post-13670983410785685662008-11-07T22:46:00.000-06:002008-11-07T22:46:00.000-06:00Monica, It seems our lives hit a point where they ...Monica,
It seems our lives hit a point where they have intersected or something! I received several e-mails from one of my aunts as well. The McCain propaganda I could ignore, but the nasty (and, in my opinion racist) e-mail about Obama did warrant a reply. I simply sent her a link to factcheck.org for the page that addressed the issue the e-mail was in relation to. She wrote me back the day before the election and I haven't been in the right state of mind yet to respond.BasilBeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16922682348740989545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2982174673054423605.post-33591653401667844612008-11-07T07:50:00.000-06:002008-11-07T07:50:00.000-06:00ha ha ha ha OMG people can be such twits! i had a ...ha ha ha ha OMG people can be such twits! i had a lot of people sending fwds about obama also. i can not stand religious and political emails. this is the reason people argue and there are wars and such. hot topics should be avoided in email content. I actually try to avoid them like the plague in person too. I like to argue, but have learned it isn't worth it by a long shot, esp with ignorant people.

I didn't get to vote for anyone :( but He won regardless tho no harm no foul. (some crap about me moving even tho I live in the same county, and I wasn't re-registered, even tho I have been registered since I was 18 years old, stupid government!)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2982174673054423605.post-51352724252503857092008-11-06T10:31:00.000-06:002008-11-06T10:31:00.000-06:00Yeah, God didn't tell me who to vote for either.
