So we have the same neighbors? Because THAT EFFIN' STORK is just down the block from me. ;-)
I am a new reader to your blog- and just want to tell you that I really appreciate how real you are with your feelings and emotions. I lost my twin daughters, Vivian and Annemarie, in the second trimester, and I go through feeling so angry, sad, frustrated, upset, and just pissed! I was reading through some of the earlier comments- and I get frustrated when well-meaning people try to tell you that all of this was "God's plan" or something like that. I don't believe that God takes away babies from loving parents. I will NEVER understand why this has happened- but just want to give you some support and tell you that you're not alone in your grief. HUGS.
Though I have to tell you--the first thing I thought of when I saw that was the Vlasic pickle bird: http://epicurious.blogs.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/04/09/thumbsup_stork.jpg
i'm totally not in favor of having people display stuff like that for days on end... which i am sure they will do.(boooo). i never understood the whole yard signs thing either( you know like when someone turns 50 or something) be strong and keep faith.
I am married to my wonderful husband, of 8 years and have two sons, Sam and Jack, who were both born still in the second trimester 6 months apart. I have been officially diagnosed as having an incompetent cervix so I had a cerclage placed to save baby #2 that failed. We tried to conceive for 2 years and found out we are expecting Baby #3. I had a TAC placed around my cervix in March of 2011 and we welcomed our new son, Hayden, on September 1, 2011. This blog chronicles my journey towards motherhood.

I'm so sorry Sweetie. This has to be tough. Do whatever feels right to YOU. You have to take care of yourself first.
That's a tacky stork.

Just to clarify...it's not REALLY the same stork. Mine just looks the same, but has a different baby name on it.
Erika- You had me freakin' out! Thanks for clarifying :-)
Um, like, wow.
I've never seen anything quite like that before. And I'm kind of wishing that I hadn't seen it now either.
Lovely. (Said with great sarcasm, which does not translate over the internet, unfortunately.)
I'd quit. Really. Most women deal with their toddlers and new babies without help, why shouldn't she?
Oh goodness. HUGS to you.

Oh wait. That link isn't working...? Just google "vlasic pickle bird." Check the images. That's who I'm talking about.
...I'll stop commenting now.
Wow, that must have been hard. I hope today is better.

That's just f'ing offensive. Who thinks that their personal lives are of such public interest.
Sorry you were faced with that crap. I'd have kicked it over ;o)
I'm so sorry. I would hate to see that.
