- I am married to my wonderful husband, of 8 years and have two sons, Sam and Jack, who were both born still in the second trimester 6 months apart. I have been officially diagnosed as having an incompetent cervix so I had a cerclage placed to save baby #2 that failed. We tried to conceive for 2 years and found out we are expecting Baby #3. I had a TAC placed around my cervix in March of 2011 and we welcomed our new son, Hayden, on September 1, 2011. This blog chronicles my journey towards motherhood.

Monica I've been thinking about you all day today. I wanted to get on here sooner, but I had computer issues and spent most of the day at this hospital (because of Derick, not me) so it was hectic. I'm going to send you an email. Know that I'm thinking of you always, but today in particular.
