In my Blogger profile I say that I do "artsy crafty" things, but I've never talked about or shown any of the things I make. This post is dedicated to the gifts I painted for my family at the local ceramic shop (except for the rooster I painted in Santa Fe on our Easter vacation).

Those look really great! You are very talented! Maybe one day I can get that creative!!
Monica - those are wonderful. You are so creative. I do want to go paint with you some day.
You are talented! I hope you had a Merry Christmas.
Wow those are really good....I wish I had that kind of talent...
Monica, these are amazing! I love the dragonfly one the best. I bet everyone loved their gifts.
Wow, Monica--these are so cool! You should consider making them & selling them...they'd make great gifts!
I want to go paint with you, too. Eric said you should start your own business!
Wow those are great! How can I place my order? : )
I would love to do ceramics but I don't think there is a place around us.
Thanks guys!
I made the dragonfly for my grandmother and wrote a letter to her and stuck it inside. It's my favorite too.
The floral cross was for my mom, the frame was for my beach lovin' aunt, the chip n' dip for my step dad who loves football. And the plaque was for my in-laws who love cardinals and watch them in their backyard.
I'm glad you all liked them, they were fun to make!
